Alex Chidi Ajibo
ChairmanWith over 20 years unbroken experience in the banking industry, Alex is a Fellow of both ICAN and CIBN laced with PGD in Management, as well as M.Sc in Banking & Finance.
A transformational leader, he has worked variously at management level as Head of Internal Control & Compliance, Head Internal Audit, Head of Remedial Loan Management & Recovery with the banks and also Group Head, Audit, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management at Masters Energy Group.
Former Chairman, Audit Committee of CIBN, Alex is presently Chairman Education Committee at CIBN; member Capacity Building & Certification Committee (ACIB & Micro Finance Bankers) and member CBN Competency Framework at CIBN; former member CIBN Consultative Committee on Annual Banking & Finance Conference and presently Chairman, ICAN Lagos Career & Development Committee.
Alex is Director at Ornate Schemes Ltd, Principal Partner at Alex Ajibo & Co (Chartered Accountants & Forensic Practitioners), and Certified Trainer at ICAN, CIBN, FITC, etc.
A thorough-bred professional, Alex has attended Master-class courses in the UAE, UK, USA, Canada, etc.
Dr. Philip Akiode
Committee MemberPhilip Akiode is a graduate of Business Administration. He holds MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Marketer, Professional Banker, Certified Shipping Practitioner and Chartered Tax Practitioner.
An erudite scholar, Philip has been involved in Economic and Banking Policy Research activities with the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), and has a number of publications to his credit. He is currently involved with training entrepreneurs, bankers and other professionals in both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy.
He holds a PhD in Public Administration (Honoris Causa). He has authored a number of books including Introduction to Business and he is the President of a family NGO.
Ier Jonathan-Ichaver
Committee MemberIer Jonathan-Ichaver is Executive Director of Sesor Empowerment Foundation, a non- profit organization working to rehabilitate displaced people. Ms Jonathan-Ichaver is a social worker and joined Sesor after working at the United Nations Children’s Fund. She has an Economics degree from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University, USA.
Dr. Oladimeji Odetunde
Committee MemberOladimeji Odetunde is a senior lecturer in the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resources Management, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He received his PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from University of Ibadan, Nigeria and an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Essex Business School, University of Essex, United Kingdom. His core research areas, in which he consults, includes Employee Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (including academic, corporate, public sector and MSME). Dr Odetunde also consults and reviews for Research in Entrepreneurship and small Business (RENT) of European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB).
Maduabuchi Leo Muoneme
Committee MemberRev. Fr. Maduabuchi Leo Muoneme SJ, a Jesuit priest, is the author of The Hermeneutics of Jesuit Leadership in Higher Education. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1988 and was ordained a priest in 2001. He received his PhD from Gonzaga University Spokane, Washington. He did his bachelor’s studies at Loyola University of Chicago and graduated with a First Class in a double major in Philosophy and Theology. Subsequently, he did an MST in Physics at Boston College, Massachusetts.
He is currently the Administrator of St. Francis Catholic Secondary School, Idimu—The Jesuit-Catholic College of Lagos.
Dr. Ayodele Ibrahim Shittu
Committee MemberDr. Ayodele Shittu is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Lagos. He specializes in Economics of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His research interests include entrepreneurial intentions of young people, learning and creativity in informal settings, and micro-informal-entrepreneurship in Africa.
He obtained his Ph.D in Economics from the Soochow University, Suzhou, P.R. China. At present, he is the Track Expert for Informal Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship in Africa at the ARUA Centre of Excellence in Unemployment and Skills Development, University of Lagos, Nigeria.
